In december hebben we op de SDE het een en ander kunnen zien van Tablet PC's.
Microsoft zit ook niet stil en heeft Microsoft Experience Pack voor de Tablet PC uitgebracht. Het is een soort booster-pack voor Tablet PC ontwikkelaars.

The Experience Pack for Tablet PC includes six great applications that showcase how you can get more out of your mobile PC. Can your Notebook PC do this?
· Ink Desktop: With Ink Desktop, you can write notes directly on your desktop for quick and easy access, such as a phone number, address, or top priorities for the day. It’s like one big sticky note that won’t get lost. It’s also a great place to doodle. Choose from several templates, including a memo, grid, calendar, to do list, and more. You can also copy your Ink Desktop notes and paste them into another program.
· Snipping Tool: Use Snipping Tool to capture a portion of your screen—whether it’s part of a website, document, or program. You can add handwritten comments and then save it or send it in an e-mail message. Capture it as a freehand or rectangular image. Snipping Tool even attaches the address automatically if what you captured is from a website.
· Ink Art: Ink Art simulates an artist’s toolset. Choose from different textured canvases, paint brushes, chalks, crayons, and more. Draw or paint freehand or use a digital picture as tracing paper to create a professional-looking painting. Ink Art takes advantage of the Tablet PC pen’s pressure sensitivity, so shading looks natural.
· Media Transfer: Use Media Transfer to access media files from your shared computer running Windows XP to your Tablet PC. Copy or stream your favorite music, home videos, and digital photo albums over a wired or wireless network, so you can enjoy them wherever you go with your Tablet PC.
· Ink Crossword: Ink Crossword is a must for puzzle fans and those who simply enjoy taking a break from their routine to solve a minor challenge. Solve any of the 12 puzzles
· Energy Blue Theme: The Energy Blue Theme includes a Windows Media Player skin that’s customized for the Tablet PC, with knobs and buttons that are easy to control with a pen.
